2008 is already upon us, which marks 28 years since the C-Weed Band's release of Robbie Robertson's song "Evangeline" from their albumn entitled "The Finest You Can Buy", which rose to #1 on the Canadian Country Radio charts! Thus earning the first of several C-Weed Band Juno Award nominations.

Errol Ranville (C-Weed) has played an integral part in paving the way for today's Aboriginal musicians, having been one of the first Aboriginal singer/songwriters in Canadian history to have achieved recognition and success spanning almost 3 decades. Far from retirement, the C-Weed band continues to perform live shows around the world. The latest C-Weed Band CD was released in 2006, entitled "Hey!" and has been very successful. This CD introduced 6 new songs as well as a blend of old and loved C-Weed songs, remixed for your enjoyment .

The current line-up of the C-Weed Band 2008 includes Errol's ever loyal big brother Donn Ranville on drums, Tom Dutiaume on lead guitar, Trevor Smith on bass guitar, & Marc Arnould on keyboards. These guys are not only gifted musicians, but are hardworking, dedicated friends.

Errol's gratitute to you, the fans, is immeasurable. You've stuck with him throughout the years. This site is dedicated to you.
