Contestants will perform before a panel of judges, with the top 4 winners from each community’s show advancing to the finals.
The top 10 winners will record one original song for a CD compilation, recorded and released in October 2011 entitled “Manitoba Star Attractions Talent Showcase 2011”
All contestants will perform with the C-Weed Band as back up, unless the Act has their own band, and chooses to perform with that band.
NOTE: Please know that deadlines are set for the contestant’s advantage so that the band can have your songs prior to the show so that they can learn the music. By leaving your selection untill showtime, you decrease your chances to win because the band may not know the songs that you chose to perform. All deadlines for the rest of the shows will remain in effect. Also the first 20 entries will be taken for each of the remaining shows.
